Of HIV/AIDS
It's not often I get to do this, but I want to compliment Rick Warren for the diverse group that Saddleback Church has invited to their HIV/AIDS conference this week. He's taking a lot of flak, but it is for doing the right thing. I want to encourage Saddleback Church to be as open on other topics as well, and truly be a place for the larger community to engage in problem solving on a major scale.
Blessings.

May your knowledge and experience of the riches of God’s grace, abundantly lavished on us through the gift of His Son as our Savior and King, warm your souls and brighten your days through this holiday season. Merry Christmas! -bill

I'm surprised to see such an outpouring of affection for Dr. Warren. I'd like to see some more consistent blogging on this issue please.

I think it's great too that Saddleback is responding to the global crisis. I'm not too informed on what they're doing, but I heard that their focus is on AIDS in Africa. Given their size, I'm sure they can do tremendous work in that regard. Do you know if they're caring for those who are suffering from AIDS in America too?

I find it interesting Barack Obama is in the group.
